Systems Administrator - Mid Level

Evans & Chambers Technology is looking for a Systems Administrator to join our team! Working with a team you will provide services and support to the mission, to include design, planning, and execution of data exploitation workflows.

Location: Reston, VA (On-Site)

Security Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with CI Poly

Responsibilities:
Management of access to resources in AWS
Performance of management tasks such as key rotation and IAM role administration
Assist in automation of tasks related to code deployment and compliance
Support O&M processes required for agency accreditation
Create scripts, in Bash or Python, to automate and manage tasks

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of experience with cloud operations
Strong Linux Admin experience specifically with RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
Strong experience with Bash scripting
Experience managing end-to-end products in AWS
Familiarity with current industry best practices for cloud resource management
Experience aligning the migration to cloud architecture with industry best practices
Experience with both Linux and Windows operating systems

Required Certifications:
Security+ certification or equivalent (or ability to obtain within first 30 days of hire)
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or above

Desired Certifications:
AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
AWS Certified Security - Specialty
