Evans & Chambers Technology is looking for a Database Engineer! Working with a team you will provide services and support to the mission, to include design, planning, and execution of data exploitation workflows into the Intelligence Community's (IC) Commercial Cloud Services (C2S). The Database Engineer must understand the capabilities of relational databases, NoSQL databases, and cloud storage solutions. The ideal candidate will be well versed in cloud strategies for data warehouse implementation, data acquisition, data tagging, and archive recovery.
Location: Reston, VA
Security Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with CI Poly
Responsibilities:
- Understanding of the capabilities of relational databases, NoSQL databases, and cloud storage solutions
- Must be well versed in strategies for warehouse implementation, data acquisition, data tagging, and archive recovery
- Experience with designing, deploying, maintaining, and optimizing NoSQL solutions with MongoDB
- Experience with designing, deploying, maintaining, and optimizing cloud data storage solutions
- Experience with Java, Python, or similar scripting tools
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years of experience
Required Certifications:
- Security+ or equivalent
- AWS Certified Developer – Associate
Desired Certification:
- AWS Data Analytics – Specialty
