Web Developer

We are looking for an experienced web developer well versed in open source web technologies and comfortable all around the web application technology stack to include cloud APIs and services. The right candidate will support the design, development, and deployment of a smart manufacturing environment that will enable the efficient production of munitions and energetics. The right candidate will extend existing customer COTS products to aggregate operational metrics and highlight data correlations. The user interface will support day-to-day operational monitoring as well as executive reporting functions. Where required, the Senior Web Developer will create lightweight web applications to support functions not available within the customer’s COTS products.

Location: Hybrid (remote with routine travel to the Washington DC Metro Area)

Clearance: US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance

You will be expected to:

• Develop wireframes and prototypes to gain customer acceptance of digital dashboards and reporting functions
• Pull data from various APIs to create a common operating picture for manufacturing operations
• Utilize HTML 5, CSS 3, and current JavaScript libraries (e.g. ReactJS)
• Utilize Tableau or other customer visualization tools for reporting
• Elicit and document requirements that will create a smart manufacturing environment
• Test user interface on multiple devices (e.g. desktops and tablets)

Preferred:

• Have experience with data analytics and user experience design
• Have experience working in a DoD manufacturing environment
• Have experience working within an energetics or ordnance environment
• Have experience in smart manufacturing environments
• Have experience with AWS cloud technologies

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience
• 5+ experience with rapid application development and Agile principles
• Ability to communicate well in writing and verbally with customers and stakeholders
