Network Security Engineer

Evans & Chambers Technology is actively seeking a highly motivated Network Security Engineer to join our team!

Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly
Location: Reston, VA (with some remote availability)

REQUIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE

• Demonstrated experience creating and implementing network designs.
• Demonstrated experience installing and configuring all network and security services on Cisco Firepower firewalls running Firepower Threat Defense software.
• Demonstrated experience configuring all network and security services on a Cisco Firepower firewalls using Cisco Firepower Management Center and Firepower Device Manager management tools.
• Demonstrated experience maintaining Cisco Firepower firewalls.
• Demonstrated experience with network automation software.

HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE

• Demonstrated experience installing networking equipment and network connections in commercial data centers
• One or more of the following certifications:
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• CompTIA Security+ (Sec+)
• Cisco CCNA in Routing and Switching
• Cisco CCNA, CCNP or CCIE in Security
