SQL Database Administrator

Evans & Chambers Technology is seeking a highly motivated SQL Database Administrator – Senior to join our team!

Overview:

The qualified candidate will support the Army G-2 with comprehensive operational intelligence integration and data-centric support. The candidate will respond to requirements across multiple theaters of operation, helping commanders to establish and sustain a Common Operating Picture. Core services include cross-domain solutions, secure network access, data management, systems integration, and access relevant reporting across U.S. and multinational platforms.

Clearance: Active DoD TS/SCI (with ability to obtain a CI poly.
Location: Ft. Belvoir, VA (on-site)

Qualifications:

· Eight years of experience in SQL database administration supporting and managing databases in a production environment

· Five years of experience installing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft SQL Server in High Availability Group configurations.

· Five years of experience with T-SQL and ability to write scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and views to automate maintenance functions.

· Three years of experience serving as a team leader working as both part of a team and independently to assign/review immediate tasks, set priorities, maintain task progress, validate team members’ work consistent with the organizational goals and deadlines.

· Three years of experience mentoring junior personnel on proper practices and procedures.

· Three years of experience planning and implementing security measures to safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure in accordance with industry best practices and DISA STIGs

Desired Education or Certifications:

· TS/SCI clearance with SBI and ability to attain SI, TK, G, HCS, and NATO Secret clearance

· Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MSCA) or SQL Server 2016 or SQL Database Administration Certification

· DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II/Intermediate certification
