Full Stack Web Developer

Evans & Chambers Technology is seeking a talented and resilient Full Stack Web Developer to join a team of two to design, build, and deploy a new software application for our Intelligence Community customer.

Location: Herndon, VA

Clearance: TS/SCI with FS Poly Required

About this Role

The developer will be primarily focused on building a new cloud-native and web-based system to track and automate Non-Standard Entities (NSEs) on the customer’s networks, but could include software development for additional applications or tools.   The software will be written using Angular and Java.

Required Skills and Experience

• Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
• Must be a US Citizen
• Performing software engineering activities to include Requirements Analysis, Software Design, Software Development, and Software Testing
• Debugging complex applications.
• Building applications with Object Oriented Design.
• Programming in Java with web frameworks such as Spring, Grails, or Struts
• Building front-end applications in Angular 5+ and TypeScript
• Developing user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience using XML for data representation and web services interactions
• Developing packaged software solutions or customized applications
• Performing data migrations from semi-structured to structured data sources

Desired Skills and Experience

• Creating functional and technical design specifications for software development efforts.
• Experience with integrated development environments such as IntelliJ and/or Eclipse IDE.
• Working with various types of non-standard entities.
• Knowledge of and experience working with Active Directory.
• Experience developing software with Visual Studio and .NET
