Evans & Chambers Technology is looking for a Database Architect to join our team!
Working with a team you will provide services and support to the mission, to include design, planning, and execution of data exploitation workflows into the Intelligence Community's (IC) Commercial Cloud Services (C2S). The Database Architect must understand the capabilities of relational databases, NoSQL databases, and cloud storage solutions. The ideal candidate will be well versed in cloud strategies for data warehousing implementation, data acquisition, data tagging, and archival.

Location: Reston, VA (On-Site)
Security Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with CI Poly
Responsibilities:
- Understanding the capabilities of relational databases, NoSQL databases, and cloud storage solutions
- Must be well versed in cloud strategies for data warehouse implementation, data acquisition, data tagging, and archival
- Experience designing, deploying, maintaining, and optimizing relational database solutions with PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with designing, deploying, maintaining, and optimizing NoSQL solutions with MongoDB
- Experience with designing, deploying, maintaining, and optimizing cloud data storage solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4 years of experience
Required Certifications:
Security+ or equivalent
Desired Certification:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
- AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty
