Cloud Migration Engineer

Evans & Chambers Technology is seeking a highly motivated Cloud Migration Engineer to join our team!

Scope Description: Assist with migration activities (lift-and-shift, with minimal refactoring necessary for the business needs) for a large-scale Data Center to AWS GovCloud customer journey

Location: Arlington, VA (20% remote)


Basic Requirements:

• Server/System Administration Skills – Ec2, Windows or Linux OS administration, hardening OS, manage OS nodes at scale
• Networking Skills – Load Balancers, Firewalls, VPN, TCP/IP networking and routing, AWS VPC, AWS Transit Gateway
• Storage Skills - NFS, SMB, block-storage SAN, AWS S3, AWS EFS
• Database Administration SKills - familiar with MSSQL and Oracle DB, AWS RDS
• Identity Skills -AWS IAM, Single-Sign-on
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate or AWS Developer Associate certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Large scale Data Center to AWS migration experience
• AWS Application Migration Service experience
