Brief Description:
Evans & Chambers Technology (EC) is seeking a highly motivated student or early-career professional to work in a Quality Assurance role within our solutions-driven organization. The QA engineer intern plays a critical role on our projects, and will work in teams to support multiple software development efforts to ensure that software code is functioning as designed, according to customer requirements, and to the quality standards that EC demands. This also means evaluating how easy and intuitive the applications are to use. Putting it simply, we will pay you to break stuff and tell us about it!
Requirements:
- Rising Junior or Senior pursuing Bachelors degree with GPA of 2.8 or better
- US Citizenship is required.

Reports To: Project Manager
Work Location: 4 minute walk from the Shaw-Howard U Metro
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
- In pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other information technology related disciplines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to show initiative, multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Ability to clearly communicate found bugs into bug reports
- Education and/or experience with Information Technology
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
