Internship - Business Analyst - DC with some Remote work

Brief Description:
Evans & Chambers Technology is actively seeking a business analyst to gather and elicit business requirements and track implementation for custom web application development efforts for our commercial and government clients. The successful candidate will have experience developing trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders. The successful candidate will be primarily accountable for the preparation of requirements, stakeholder briefings, and project task tracking.  This position is based at the company's headquarters in Washington, DC, and will require some travel to and from DC-area customer locations.  Limited telework is approved.  Applicant must be a US Citizen.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Demonstrated ability to engage in multiple projects. Ability to meet stated customer initiated deadlines.
• Demonstrated success in the leading and managing of people in a team-based environment.
• Knowledgeable in life-cycle support and methodologies, including maintenance, administration, and management.
• Knowledgeable in computer systems, data architecture, gathering/identifying requirements, and developing an infrastructure plan to satisfy requirements. Knowledge of current technology trends, for the application of current and emerging technology solutions to meet customer
• Must have excellent verbal or written communications skills.  

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in a technical discipline or equivalent.
• 2 plus years professional experience as a business analyst
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience with communications skills to support requirements elicitation and documentation
• Experience in Agile/Scrum software development methodology
• Excels working in a dynamic, fast-changing project environment

Desired Requirements:

• Familiarity with MS Project, Primavera, Sharepoint
• Agile Certified Scrum Master
• Experience using Jira for project tracking
• PMP Certification
