Senior Application Developer - (TS/SCI with ability to pass CI poly)

Location- Ft Detrick, MD

Full time, Salary is competitive and based upon experience

Brief Description:

Evans & Chambers Technology is seeking a UI and Front End Developer to build intuitive user interfaces for several enterprise systems related to world health events. This is an opportunity to have a major impact in supporting the Defense community with necessary medical intelligence. We embrace Agile values and use continuous integration inside of a robust DevOps environment. The successful candidate will be expected to think creatively, and use judgement to prioritize multiple efforts to meet evolving world health challenges.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Must be a US Citizen

Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to pass a CI Poly

Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years’ experience working within an Agile team, Computer Science or related degree preferred

Experience writing code with languages such as Java, C++ or C#

Experience developing user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular2, and NodeJS

Experience creating frequent prototypes for end-user evaluation

Experience calling web services within single-page layouts

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Experience building and managing infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Experience with developing within the AWS environment

Experience working with front-end tools and libraries such as LESS, SASS, Grunt, Bower, Node
